A public appearance

I’ll be giving an hour-long seminar on insect photography this coming Monday, February 2nd, as part of the University of Illinois Ecology and Evolutionary Biology “Ecolunch” series.  Here are the details:

I’ll be covering a few basic aspects of macro photography, including equipment, composition, and working with live insects.

    Did anyone record this so those who couldn’t make it can watch/listen to it on the interwebs?

    Goodness, I hope not. We had a projector failure so I gave an hour-long photography talk using just chalk and a blackboard.

    On the bright side, the lack of visuals led to a fair bit of discussion and participation.
