Hello
I happened to pass by your blog when looking for photographs of ladybirds in flight.
I’m from Flores island in Azores, Portugal, I’m also a biologist and I must congratulate you for your photos they are amazing.
Thanks Marlene! You’re very kind. Perhaps someday I’ll visit the Azores- I hear they’re overrun with Argentine Ants…
Yes… Yes, unfortunately… and also termites and japanese beetle… But we also have insects that are endemics and that you only can see here.
When coming here please remember Hydrangea macrophylla it’s Not from azores, it escaped from ornamental and because of that it’s a wrong image of this islands (I must say this to everyone… because we have so many beautiful things here and we promote ourselves with something from other continent).
I hope that you have fun here in Azores and that you visit the most islands you can, I’ll see the photos.
